The apartment, in the center of Ercolano, is only 5 minutes walking distance from the Hercolaneum Ruins. The 120 s.m. apartment is on the 4th floor of a nice building with lift.

The entrance of the Apartment leads to the spacious and light living room where you can find a comfortable double sofa-bed, a TV, a big table and a kitchenette equipped with an oven and a dishwasher, a big fridge, an over and a microwave

Through a corridor you find a first bed-room with with 2 single beds easily adaptable to form a comfortable double bed  and ensuite bathroom with bath, a second bed-room with a double bed  and an suite bathroom with a spacious shower. There is a third bath-room with WC and lavabo and washing machine.

All the rooms have the windows on a big Balcony with a wonderful view on Sorrento and Naples Coast and Capri Island.

The bright and quiet apartment has been recently and completely renovated and furnished.

Ercolano, which boasts an enchanting position in the centre of the Gulf of Naples, enjoys a particular importance, both nationally and internationally, for its priceless heritage represented by the archaeological excavations of the ancient Haercolanum, destroyed by the eruption of Vesuvius in 78 A.D., the Vesuvian Villas of the Golden Mile and Vesuvius itself, easily accessible from the centre of the town. The stop at Ercolano provides a privileged destination, which are precisely the archaeological excavations, one of the most prestigious monumental complexes of classical antiquity for the refinement of the works found. The entrance of the excavations, at the Gymnasium, is a spectacular avenue that offers a view of the excavated part of the city: ruins, mosaics, paintings, statues, indoor and outdoor environments where you can relive all the charm of over two centuries of history. Another obligatory stop is in Santa Maria di Pugliano, in the characteristic «rione degli racci». The Pugliano climb, which is part of the ancient centre of Ercolano, ends at the top with the building of the Sanctuary dedicated to the Assumption. Of great architectural interest are also the Vesuvian Villas of the Golden Mile, among which stands out the Villa Campolieto, once the residence of the Dukes of Casacalenda. In 1977 the Villa was purchased by the Ente Ville Vesuviane and is the venue for international conferences and meetings, theatrical events and concerts of great artistic and cultural value.

A stone’s throw away the visit to Vesuvius is another very interesting visit to be made according to Herculaneum. The territory of the Vesuvius National Park is a concentration of natural riches, breathtaking landscapes, centuries-old crops and traditions that make the Vesuvius area one of the most fascinating and among the most visited places in the world. Vesuvius is a typical example of an enclosure volcano consisting of a truncated outer cone, Monte Somma, with a largely demolished crater belt within which there is a smaller cone represented by Vesuvius, separated by a depression called Valley of the Giant, part of the ancient caldera, where later, presumably during the eruption of 79 AD, the Great Cone or Vesuvius was formed.
